Brian has over 30 years' experience in maritime and commercial marine sectors, focused on business development, market growth, and partnerships. His career spans marine engineering, technical sales and senior commercial leadership, giving him end-to-end industry insight.

He began his career in New Zealand as an engineer, later moving into yacht rigging and spar manufacturing, building a strong technical foundation. He then progressed into engineering, project management and customer‑facing roles across naval, commercial and offshore sectors.

Brian has held senior business development roles, supporting organisations in entering new markets, strengthening partnerships and delivering long-term growth. As Shipyard Business Development Manager, he focuses on opportunities, client relationships, and sustainable commercial growth.
